KRMU: SJMC Industry Visit to News 24

On April 05, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC), K.R. Mangalam University (KRMU) organized an industry visit for their students to News 24 Channel situated in Noida. The event was coordinated by Mr. Trilok Kumar Singh. The students of SJMC also attended a Live Conclave hosted by News 24 and visited the Prime Time Studio, PCR Room, Radio Studio, and the several regional channels of News 24. Meanwhile, Ms. Tanuja Shankar, director of ISOMES, provided basic insights regarding News channels. Mr. Ashraf Ali, ISOMES faculty, gave us a tour of the newsroom. The students got to see a studio and learnt about the importance of the room lighting and camera placement required for the setting. They were also shown the significance of a teleprompter which is required for the newsreader to present the news.
